Love in the Hardest Season: Magdalene and Hal's Story

Toronto, 2025–2026

When Hal was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, life in their Toronto home changed overnight. Appointments, test results, treatment schedules — the language of oncology became part of everyday conversation. But through it all, his partner Magdalene never stopped looking for ways to help him feel stronger, more resilient, and less alone in the fight.

That search led her to CellBB. The discovery came through a trusted source — a friend from church whom Magdalene knew had struggled with cancer but had sailed through chemotherapy with a resilience that stood out. When Magdalene learned that her friend credited Ovosan/CellBB as part of her support regimen, it was enough to make her want to try it for Hal. But it was not a replacement for his medical care.

One Day at a Time

Hal's treatment unfolded across many months. He completed chemotherapy in the autumn of 2025, and after a recovery window, began a 25-session course of radiation in December, which concluded in January 2026.

The numbers told a hopeful story. During the break between chemo and radiation, Hal regained 25 of the 32 pounds he had lost — a remarkable turnaround. His medical team noted that he had handled the treatments exceptionally well.

Throughout this period, Hal was taking up to nine capsules of CellBB daily — and Magdalene is convinced it made a real difference. In her view, CellBB was a meaningful contributor to Hal's ability to withstand both chemotherapy and radiation so well: to regain weight during the recovery window, to keep his test results stable, and to come through a grueling treatment schedule in better shape than many would expect. They do not credit CellBB alone — they are full of gratitude for his medical team — but they firmly believe the supplement helped his body hold up under the strain in a way it might not have otherwise.

The moment that crystallized it for them came during the winter, when she fell seriously ill with a brutal virus that left her with almost no energy and a relentless cough. Hal — a cancer patient, living right beside her — never caught it. "We think it's the CellBB," she wrote. "Totally amazing."

The Weight a Caregiver Carries and Love in Practice

Magdalene now takes CellBB daily, convinced that it is keeping her own immune system strong. For someone carrying the physical and emotional load of a full-time caregiver, staying healthy is not a luxury — it is a necessity. CellBB, she believes, is helping her do exactly that. Even caregivers need care.

Some people face illness. Others face it together. Magdalene and Hal are firmly in the second group, finding every possible way to help. — and that, perhaps more than any treatment protocol alone, is its own kind of medicine.
