After I witnessed the benefits of Ovosan I decided to continue R&D on this supplement. That brought me to Colorado where I started Machavert – a company focused on R&D to create a pharmaceutical drug. We identified a phospholipid in Ovosan that activates NK cells in a novel way. The research continues to identify the specific molecular mechanism of action. However, we already started marketing Ovosan in the US under the CellBB brand.

Chris A. Johnson
Co-founder and Vice President
Chris co-founded Immod and serves as its Vice President. Chris has more than 30 years of experience with phospholipids and their bio-active properties in a whole array of environments, including living tissues and organisms, and using state-of-the-art analytical methods and equipment. He was working as a lipidomic analysis expert at Machavert Pharmaceuticals, the expert at Department of Pharmacology, School of Medicine, University of Colorado in a lab of Prof. Bob Murphy and also at the National Jewish Health in Denver. Chris has coauthored several scientific papers and holds a B.S. from the Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO.
Dr. Jakub Staszak
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer
Jakub co-founded Immod Innovations and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He has over 10 years of experience with R&D of pharmaceuticals and dietary phospholipids. Prior to Immod, Jakub worked at Machavert Pharmaceuticals and as a scientist at numerous research organizations such as Argonne National Laboratory, IL, University of Gothenburg in Sweden, and the University of Liverpool in the UK. Jakub has also worked and was closely involved with our partner company Areko as a director and advisor to the executive team. He graduated and holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague.

Born in former Czechoslovakia and educated at leading German business schools, Marian brings extensive international corporate sales and marketing experience and over 25 years as an entrepreneurial visual artist. His creative vision shapes the visual presentation and expansion of Immod Innovations. Deeply passionate about metaphysics, meditation, sound therapy and Nature, Marian blends business acumen with a commitment to personal growth and holistic well-being.

Bryan is a seasoned leader who has held Chief Financial Officer roles across several industries, including retail, franchising, and medical devices. He specializes in bridging finance and strategy with deep operational experience to drive organizational growth. His achievements and expertise span pricing, cost efficiencies, transportation, logistics, and warehousing. He has extensive M&A experience and has successfully led national brands through strategic exits. Bryan holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Presented in 2019 at AACR conference focused on the Machavert’s discovery of phospholipids that activate natural killer (NK) cells to trigger anti-tumor cell responses. The phospholipid active pharmaceutical ingredient was formulated as a liposomal nanoparticle.
